Painting · Tel Aviv / Be'er Sheva
Yael Mor's large-scale abstract paintings map the chromatic shifts of desert light across seasons. Her work has been exhibited at Tel Aviv Museum of Art and is currently featured in Horizons of Dust at Gallery Negev.
Working primarily in oil and pigment on linen, Mor builds layered surfaces that evoke geological strata — horizon lines dissolving into atmospheric fields of ochre, bone white, and deep ink.
Sculpture · Be'er Sheva
A Be'er Sheva native, Oren Weiss casts bronze and basalt forms inspired by the eroded rock formations of Makhtesh Ramon. His sculptures balance monumentality with intimate, hand-worked surfaces.
Weiss has held solo exhibitions in Jerusalem, Haifa, and Berlin. His work Sentinel III anchors the current Forms in Bronze exhibition at Gallery Negev.
Mixed Media · Mitzpe Ramon
Nurit Zamir works with handmade paper, natural pigments, and found desert materials to create textural surfaces that speak to silence and scale. Based in Mitzpe Ramon, she draws daily inspiration from the crater landscape.
Her solo exhibition Surface & Silence opens at Gallery Negev in May 2026, presenting a new body of work created over two years in the Negev highlands.
